Why Did the Arabs Not Translate Chinese Thought in Their Golden Age?

Abstract This research deals with the image of China in cultural heritage Arabs, especially writings famous Arab authors such as Said al-Andalusi, Abu Hayyan al-Tawhidi, Ibn al-Muqaffa’, Al-Jahiz, al-Nadim and others. It was found that these did not mention Chinese thought, absence thought can be seen a black hole heritage, despite richness depth ancient thought. The researcher believed Arabs know nor they learn about it through language directly, so concluded “did exist”, this imaginary non-existence contributed to deep hole. However, situation has changed since 21 st century, when we find increasing direct exposure culture, thanks increase exchanges between world, steady growth all fields Sino-Arab relations.
